Jim Leatherwood will present a request for the Brevard High School band to travel and perform on a Carnival Cruise ship during Spring Break 2017. A copy of the request is attached along with board policy 3320, School Trips, and regulations 3320-R. Mr. Leatherwood will discuss the proposed trip and answer any questions you may have. School trips that require travel outside if the continental United States must be approved by the board upon recommendation by the superintendent or designee. Dr. McDaris will make a recommendation at the November board meeting.
